2026 19th TID Award Official Competition Guidelines

The Taiwan Interior Design Award is an important platform for researching contemporary Chinese lifestyles and regional cultures. In addition to bringing together outstanding design professionals and creative practices, it serves as a key observation platform for the development of interior design across the Greater Chinese region. By documenting and reviewing works from diverse regions, the Award presents varied manifestations of contemporary “living spaces.”

The 2026 TID Award continues to emphasize the uniqueness and originality of design works, aiming to select projects that differ from conventional aesthetics through innovative experimentation, closer engagement with daily life, and responsiveness to the spirit of the times. The Organizing Committee has adjusted the evaluation and award mechanisms, incorporating sustainability and regenerative design, social and universal design, innovative technology design, aging-in-place and all-age design, and other issues reflecting contemporary values into the evaluation criteria and award scope.

In case of any discrepancy between language versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
